The Client is seeking a Wireless Pooling Support Specialist to be part of an IT team at a Fortune 500 Company. The Wireless Pooling Support Specialist will ensure accurate, cost-effective, and timely order management in relation to mobile technology. This person should have both the customer service focus but can also think of and implement process improvements as well as think outside of the box a little pertaining to our existing written process. 

The Wireless Pooling Support Specialist is an integral part of our Client’s IT team and should have knowledge of principles and practices in Mobile Technology / Wireless customer service. The ideal candidate would be 100% dedicated to Wireless Pooling Support assisting an existing wireless procurement team. The candidate will be asked to maintain and ensure the pooling & procurement best practices while following department guidelines and appropriate procurement methods and processes.  

What this job involves:

  • Manage multiple orders, tasks, and follow up work and take necessary actions to update order entry systems to ensure timely delivery of products/services to customers
  • Resolve order issues and carrier issues pertaining to client orders
  • Providing exemplary customer service
  • Meet minimum daily activity goals and objectives set forth by current Mobility Manager of Procurement
  • Ensuring cost-effective & timely order management 
  • Work closely with multiple departments across the organization to ensure that orders meet all client established guidelines

  • Experience in mobility procurement and dealing with the wireless service providers
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong typing skills
  • Previous telecom carrier experience highly preferred
  • Potentially having some accounting background preferred but not required
  • Possess an understanding of wireless order processing and be able to troubleshoot order issues with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills to monitor and prioritize multiple activities at once
  • Similar work experience of managing a heavy workload and processing customers & orders, preferably within the telecom industry
  • Ability to manage multiple orders/systems simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail in assembling and submitting service requests
  • Willingness to work and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to resolve orders/trouble thoroughly with initiative and urgency
  • Exceptional listening, questioning, and call control techniques
