Delivery Lead / Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Delivery Lead / Scrum Master to join our team and lead the successful delivery of projects using Agile methodologies. As a Delivery Lead / Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of agility and guiding cross-functional development teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, team leadership, conflict resolution, and creating effective, self-organizing teams will be essential in driving project success.

Responsibilities:

• Agile Methodologies: Champion the adoption and implementation of Agile principles and methodologies across the organization. Act as an advocate for Agile values, ensuring teams are aligned and committed to Agile practices.
• Scrum Practices: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Scrum practices and guide the team in adopting Agile best practices.
• Team Development: Collaborate with team members to identify areas for skill development and growth. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, promoting opportunities for individual and team growth.
• Strong Business or Technical Background: Leverage your strong business or technical background to understand project requirements and effectively communicate with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and project deliverables.
• Project Delivery: Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Metrics and Reporting: Establish relevant metrics to track team performance and project progress. Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders, providing transparency into project health.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead or Scrum Master, successfully leading Agile projects and teams.
• At least 4 years of experience leading development teams
• Experience utilizing Azure DevOps and a foundation in programming with Microsoft technologies, including .NET.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, with a deep understanding of Agile values and principles.
• Strong team leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of building high-performing, self-organizing teams.
• Exceptional conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• A solid business or technical background, allowing you to effectively communicate with stakeholders from different domains.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proactive and results-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering value to the organization.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are a plus.
